Who are you?

Hullo! I’m Auntie Wicked, and this is Auntie Wicked’s Sanctuary.

Auntie Wicked is one of two internet monikers of mine, Auntie Wicked’s Sanctuary is the blog I run with the help of the Fair and Glittery Auntie Illumination. We are seekers of Culture, examiners of Subculture, and lovers of Scholarship, no matter how lowly.

The Sanctuary is about creating our own little Women’s Magazine. We tired a long time ago of the tripe in most print, with articles about how crash diets are OK, how our fashion choices where synonymous with disaster, and how to get a man to love you.

We say “Women’s Magazine”, but we don’t mean to exclude any genders, cross genders, or sideways ones. It becomes often quite Feminine because well, Illumi and I are girls, and we talk about the things that interest us. Everyone is welcome at the Sanctuary, welcome to chat, get advice, or just read.
