Filler Bunny Strikes Back, Yearly Reminders :

Oh hello errant blog readers and masses of spammers! I didn’t see you thar. This is your Auntie Wicked, peering over her broken glasses and you best listen up good before she begins to rant and drool. She is stealing a bit of wisdom from Francesca, our favorite enchantress formerly of Manolo for the Big Girl. Francesca used to do featurettes on yearly and bi-yearly reminders. Auntie Wicked does NOT run on the kind of smooth schedule that most hu-mons manage to, so she can’t make any promises about this being reoccurring. Keeping this in mind, here are Auntie Wicked’s Reminders of things to do.
Examine your Boobies :
Ladies AND Gentleman, please take the time to perform a Self-Exam! 1 in 8 women will develop serious breast-cancer in their lifetimes. Don’t forget if you have particularly dense breast-tissue to make an appointment for a digital mammogram. (The National Association of Free Health Clinics has a list to start you if you can’t afford an exam, or contact your local Planned Parenthood, which often scales care to your income!)
While you are on your health kick, please make appointments to have your annual Pap-Check, and STD screening. Don’t be shy or scared or put it off, make it happen!
The Hygiene of your things:
You should change out your toothbrush every 6 months if you have healthy teeth. If you can’t remember the last time you bought a new brush, switch.
Mascara, Eyeshadow, and Foundation should also be switched out on at LEAST the six month cycle. If you don’t change out your mascara regularly you could get eye allergies, infections, and possible doom. It was the hardest thing I ever did to throw out my beautiful shadows, but just think of how awesome it will be to buy new makeup!
While you are in the midst of your 6 month change over, think about changing up your shampoo and conditioner. The best way to fight buildup in your hair is to regularly change your shampoo out!
